Renewal of Oath

Citizens, I have taken the mantle of Centurion for the Realm Watch. The assassination of Dosoman has been mourned by the Idoaclesians. However, the Realm calls for her protectors. The beasts of chaos etch closer and closer upon the gates of our realm. The Watch resumes its oath to Underlight with unwavering resolve. The Idoaclesians and the children of Underlight will protect this Realm no matter what dangers lies ahead. I am one such daughter of Underlight. I fell once in her defense – and I will do so again if I must. This is our shared home and we must fight together united under a banner of understanding and peace. Zaxon, my love, you may not wish to believe me but I do not desire to fight you on the fields of battle. However, I will protect those under my charge by whatever means I must use to do so. You choose to forsake me but I will not forsake our City. I plead that you change your mind and help us protect our home, the one you and I fought for many dreams ago along with Xun’rok. We have discovered the traitor who aided you in attaining the Mace of Castigation through the gift of our Yissen mistress. He has confessed and has been tried for his crimes. His fate is known only to Talberon and the Elders. The Idoaclesians will seek justice against you next. If you surrender to them for your part in the assassination of Dosoman, I will stand by you. If you choose to not take responsibility, I will bring you to them, my love. Please do not force me to drag you before the Idoaclesian Council. Sabriela, Second Centurion of the Realm Watch

Eviction

Talberon, I warned you and your rabble to take leave from our city. Your presence will no longer be tolerated and you can no longer count upon any ‘allies’ in our city. You and all your kind will be evicted by any means necessary much like the Arretians before you. The assassination of your Centurion is but the beginning of things to come if you refuse to leave on your own. The sword of the Vanguard is without mercy upon the likes of traitors, murderers, and worthless dreamers. Ironically, and interestingly enough – it was not the sword of the Vanguard that struck down your precious champion. It was the treachery of your own kind that served in his downfall. We have your precious ‘Mace of Castigation’ – and I will use it against each and every one of your kind. You will regret the day you set foot upon this City. If you desire war with us – we will bring it to your portalstep. For the last time, Idoaclesian rabble – leave. Or be evicted by force. You have overstayed your welcome. Submitted, Zaxun, General of the Illuminated Vanguard

Fallen Warrior

Zaxon, What have you done? Your actions this evening are beyond deplorable and without honor! You have taken the first steps in a bloody war between our people! Your actions are inexcusable. My people will NOT turn a blind eye to the assassination of the Centurion of the Watch! We will lure out the traitor in our midst as only they could have given you access to one of our relics used to commit this heinous act of war. Dosoman was a champion in the eyes of my people and a veteran of the Hota-Echten War. You will be brought to justice before my people for your crimes. We are a fair people, we will allow you a trial before the Idoaclesian Elders. We regret that you choose this course of action while being admonished of the Kadatorii and Hota threats. The absence of Dosoman’s experience and presence will leave ripples of repercussion in the coming battle against the outside forces that threatens the realm of Underlight. The Spirits be with us. Talberon, Elder of the Idoaclesians

C.C.C.

Well well, what do we have here? It amazes how much has changed and how much remains the same. Wretched dreamers continue to bicker and raise chakrams in the name of their beliefs. And the foul creatures that plague our dreams seem to have no end. Destroy one, two more appear in their stead. Tsk, tsk. It is a vicious cycle you find yourselves in, dream after dream. Ah, but a new twist unfolds, does it not? Dreamers thought to be struck are returning. The Idoaclesians know full well what I speak of but yet they only tell you a small fraction of the truth. The truth after all comes in many different shades, hmm? What to do, what to do? Quite the conundrum, indeed. It seems you’ll have to look back in order to understand how to move forward. The only problem I see is that you all seem intent to remain ibid in your dreams, entrapped by your beliefs, and chained by your fears. Oh, and that pesky problem with fallen dreamers returning back is one I intend to fix personally, one by one if I must. After all, history does tend to repeat itself. C.C.C.

War Song

To whom it concerns, The Vanguard would accuse of us of being lax in our duty to protect the Realm. While they battled ONE Kadatorii beast, we held off a small raiding party of four Kadatorii beasts in the Dorsal Rifts. I personally lead the charge against their raiding leader, the Kadatorii known as “Ssvatra” – a creature of utter ruthlessness in combat. Another Kadatorii raiding party was encountered by my second-in-command in the Cairn of Sorrows lead by a Kadatorii beast known as Nadar. The Kadatorii beast you encountered in the Barrows had already been defeated by my people and was fleeing after being separated from his group. That is seven Kadatorii to your one. Do not be so quick to judge without knowing the full details of any situation. The Templars would also accuse of us of holding dreamers against their own will. I assure you that the dreamer you speak of remains with us by choice. She will see you when she wishes and not a moment before – please do not insist on your current course of action. As you can see, the Kadatorii are testing our resolve and defenses. Also, while the Kadatorii were launching their assaults upon the Realm – the Hota were spotted approaching from a distance. They are not marching alone for they bring in their ranks a chained female dreamer that we have identified as their ‘siren’. This creature will summon more of the Hota throughout the RealmScape with her ‘songs’. We intend to met them in combat before they can breach our walls and put the Siren out of commission before we are overrun by the Hota. We are here to stay, gentleman. Underlight is much our home now as it is yours. Realm sweet realm. Regards. Dosoman, Centurion of the Realm Watch
